In Wyoming’s Powder River Basin, a southbound Burlington Northern coal train recedes in the distance moments after meeting a Chicago & North Western train at Antelope siding on July 4, 1989. Three C&NW EMD SD60s and a Union Pacific EMD SD60M power the northbound train. Most of the Orin line was still single track at this point, with plenty of meets going on between trains.
