Pre-Veterans Unit: NJT 4507, before adorning its "We Salute You" veterans decal, leads one of the few Hoboken to Bay Head trains through Linden on the Northeast Corridor. With the implementation of the one-seat ride to/from New York Penn Station for commuters below Long Branch, trains to Hoboken on the North Jersey Coast Line were slashed around the time of this photo. Also of note, being that this train operates from Hoboken, it can utilize either diesel power or dual-mode power, as pictured here.
