The first year of the Stourbridge Line’s operation occurred while freight service on the former Erie branch from the Southern Tier line at Lackawaxen to Honesdale, Pennsylvania was still being operated by the Susquehanna. Here the DLS’ former Bangor & Aroostook BL2, passes an NYSW RS2 during a runaround move in Lackawaxen. The BL2 still operates on the line, but the Alco was scrapped long ago.
