Remarks & Notes
The DL's "newest" ALCO, C424 #2409, is seen leading to other ALCOs onto a siding crossing Power Blvd in Archibald, PA. This unit was originally built for the NdeM, but was delivered to the Wabash instead and eventually ending up on the Norfolk & Western as their #425. This engine sat in the DL's dead line in South Scranton for years awaiting its eventual rebuild which came over the past year. The engine is now back doing what it was built to do back in June 1964. Next step is the repaint!
