Remarks & Notes
While skiers enjoy the slopes of Winter Park, the Rio Grande Ski Train is being turned on the wye at Tabernash, Colorado, then will go east to the next siding at Fraser until it is time to head back to Denver. Because of a failing F40PH in the locomotive consist, the train on February 16, 2002, has an added unit in the form of Southern Pacific EMD SD40R No. 7323. The train is seen here on the siding at Tabernash just after wyeing the train was complete and is now headed for Fraser.
