Remarks & Notes
SunRail train P315 arrives at the Amtrak station in Orlando. The Spanish Mission-style station, featuring a pair of bell towers, arches, a parapet and tile roofing, was built by the Atlantic Coast Line Railroad and dedicated in January 1927. As was common in this time and place, the station initially featured two waiting rooms, each with its own ticket windows and restrooms: One for whites, and one for African-Americans. A date for the elimination of segregated waiting rooms is difficult to determine, but most "Jim Crow" laws (in Florida, part of the state's constitution) were removed by the mid-1960s at the latest.

SunRail is the commuter operation of Florida Department of Transportation’s Central Florida Rail Corridor. Northbound train P315, consisting of CFRC MP32PH-Q 109 and Bombardier commuter cars 2008 and 2005, originated at the Sand Lake Road, station in Pine Castle and is headed to the DeBary station.
