On February 25, 1999, a southbound Burlington Northern Santa Fe coal train rumbles past a stately barn located at Greenland on a more rural portion of Colorado’s Joint Line. Because of its proximity to the many growing population centers along Front Range, most of the scenery along the Joint Line now features more urban settings.
