| "Siemens Venture Coach at Penn Station"
The Siemens Venture Coach Test Train takes a small break in New York's Penn Station while a new crew swap is performed before continuing to Boston. Over the past couple of weeks, Amtrak (one of the future operators) has been testing the coach all over the Northeast Corridor to check behavior at high speeds such as 125mph and many other factors. These coaches are being purchased by state agencies (not Amtrak themselves at the moment) and will eventually replace several outdated passenger cars. |
