| The Southern New England leasing (SENX) Alco RS-36 #5012 prepares to spot two cars at Greenwich Jct., NY on April 20. The D&H-inspired scheme is on the former D&H Washington Branch as it heads to switch the pair of Urea hoppers. The Alco was never a Delaware & Hudson unit but the scheme is inspired by the D&H. Unit was built in 1962 as Atlantic & Danville #2; became the Norfolk, Franklin & Danville #2; then to Delaware Coast Line Railroad #2, before finally the SNEX 5012. |
