Immediately prior to Great Western Main Line electrification, decades of tree growth was cleared from the famous cutting at Sonning, opening views not possible for many years. Within months these were permanently ruined by the electrification catenary.
In the all too brief interval, 43162 rushes towards London on 8th August 2015.
