In december 2005, the BLS bought another 6 Re 420 locomotives from the SBB. The former Re 4/4 II # 11204/11104 of the SBB, built in 1964, now Re 420 # 510 was first in the red SBB paint scheme running for the BLS, but then got the new silver/green/blue BLS paint scheme. This day the locomotive is entering Brig with a standard cars type III push-pull train coming from the Lötschberg mountain line. The locomotive was withdrawn in 2009 and scrapped in 2010.
