Remarks & Notes
On August 13, 1990, the Santa Fe Railway operated a special train on Cajon Pass for the filming of a promotional film for one of their large shipping container customers, A.P. Møller – Mærsk A/S. The Santa Fe even had one of their new GP60M locomotives painted in a variation of the railway’s new "Superfleet" paint scheme for the film, changing the standard Indian Red to Maersk Blue and placed a large "MAERSK" on the hood as well. ATSF 146 pulled a solid train of Maersk well-cars filled with Maersk containers all day, with ATSF 144 (which retained its "Superfleet" paint) on the rear. The special is seen descending Cajon Pass as it passes under Interstate 15 around rounds the curve at Stein’s Hill in the afternoon.
