Remarks & Notes
An Albany and Eastern train switches Weyerhaeuser’s Santiam Lumber mill south of Lebanon, Oregon, on the AERC’s Sweet Home branch on September 26, 2016. The train is powered by two GE B40-8s—No. 1841 (former Cotton Belt), and recently painted No. 1807 (ex-Southern Pacific) trailing. This branch is a former Oregon Electric line, later operated by BN and sold to AERC by BNSF.
