Night stop at Trinidad After making its station stop at the old Santa Fe depot at Trinidad, Colorado, Amtrak’s eastbound Southwest Chief speeds away from the snowy and empty platform on the eve of January 28, 2000. This station was torn down in 2005 to make way for new bridge construction on Interstate 25.
