| Bruised and battered but everyone is OK. Before sunup UP 7193 (ES44AC) was pulling with three other units a long container train on the Greeley Sub and hit a semi that was hauling pumping equipment. 15 cars derailed and blocked highway 85 for the entire day. Fortunately the UP crew and the truck driver did not get hurt, but UP 7193 is going need some serious buffing (and a new front plow) to make her whole. |
