Remarks & Notes
The iconic spiral viaduct of Brusio in the "blue hour" at 17.11 h, with the three "Campascio"-granite figures "Grande Figura Femminile", "Unione Granitica" and "Mater Luce e Trapasso" of the homegrown stone sculptor "Kiki" (Christiano) Paganini, created in 1993. The figures were illuminated with my headlight during the 100 seconds exposure. The light trace of train 1668 from Tirano to St.Moritz come through the middle bow of the viaduct, then the train is passing just behind the photographer, to cross the viaduct from right to left up towards Brusio. The Brusio spiral viaduct is part of the UNESCO World Heritage "Rhaetian Railway in the Albula / Bernina Landscapes" since 2008. The snow covered mountains in the background are in Italy, south of the Valtellina, in the Bergamasque (or Bergamo) Alps. On the right mountain slope the lights of some houses in the small hamlet of Scala.
