CCKY 1700 sporting the Genesee & Wyoming Corporate look is leading a very short 702 south on the outskirts of Rock Spring, GA. CCKY 1700 is not running solo today, as CCKY 1804 is on the other end of the train, doing a 1x1 practice, that is rarely seen on this railroad. the 1x1 practice came ahead as the local job was running north to Chickamuaga, GA to work the trans-flow facility. With no run around siding available on what was a lengthy train, it was easy to do the 1x1 concept for switching. CCKY 702 will run south to the storage siding where 1804 will take the single car and swap it out before ending the day at Thacker Dr. work south for the 702 will continue in the morning.
