A pair of pre-production Dash9's. With only 54 cars in tow, CN 327 heads west on the north track as it approaches Caron at MP 19.7 of CN's Kingston Sub. Power is CSXT 9051 & CSXT 9027, both Dash8-44CW's. This CSX-only model is a Dash8-40CW externally, but a Dash9 internally. Built with 4400 horsepower, they have since been derated to 4000 horsepower and CSX now classifies them as CW40-9's.
