The entire consist of the UP steam special, including 23 passenger coaches, is seen heading up Cajon Pass. The train is traversing the UP Mojave Sub, more commonly known on this stretch as the Palmdale Cutoff. At Silverwood, they'll move onto the BNSF Cajon Sub, which is seen in the foreground.
