| N&W 611 on the Virginia Creeper: In its final years of steam on the Norfolk and Western Railroad, the 611 and its sister J class locomotives were assigned to local freight trains in Virginia, one of which was known as the Virginia Creeper. In this scene, the 611 pulls a recreated local freight on the Strasburg Railroad. This was part of a special Strasburg Railroad photo charter that was organized by Lerro Productions. |
