| With the last forecast sunny day and peak foliage abound in the Green (not so Green) Mountains, it was an excellent day for the GMRC Passenger Services Foliage Extra to be on the rails. A local resident in Cavendish that owns a 1926 Ford truck was a willing participant in a staged shot alongside the original Rutland Alco RS-1 #405, turned Green Mountain Railroad. The two antique vehicles made a side-by-side meet in the Cavendish Gulf on October 8. |
