Remarks & Notes

A westbound BNSF Z train arcs around the curve at milepost 1677 at Sunitch Canyon west of Leavenworth, Washington, on the afternoon of June 29, 2006. A quartet of GE C44-9Ws, along with a EMD SD40-2 still in Cascade green, power the train up Stevens Pass.
