| This abandoned temple has since been torn down. A lot has changed in this area in the last year I have heard including more security checkpoints and police presence. When I was here, I felt very safe and everything around the coal operation was pretty low key. This particular area was pretty much completely abandoned with only a few residents remaining in this old part of Sandaoling. The China-Muslim tensions have been increasing over the years accounting for many of the changes. |
