Adhesion test run on the Lötschberg mountain route on 2.7 % gradient above Frutigen with the brand-new Bombardier TRAXX F140 MS3 188 # 006, in view of a new acquisition of locomotives for BLS Cargo. The train of about 1000 tons is now running down from Kandersteg to Frutigen, with locomotive Re 4/4 # 175 of the BLS leading, and 188 # 006 in the rear. The 188 # 006 is a new locomotive of Bombardier, with about 6 MW power and a slightly increased starting tractive effort. The slogan on the side of the locomotive says: "The new BOMBARDIER TRAXX Multi System Locomotive.. designed for Europe, manufactured in Kassel"
