Remarks & Notes
CSX M765-30 is now on the single track main, and is preparing to cross the Tennessee River, as the train works it's way south for Chattanooga, TN for Wauhatchie Yard. To railfan that isn't familiar to this piece of railroad it can be very confusing due to the fact that the way that the railroad traverse going south through the Tennessee valley til is hit the town of Stevenson in the state of Alabama where the line turn to a northeast direction to avoid building the railroad through the rugged Cumberland Plateau just to get to Chattanooga. Geographically at this location M765 is actually going at a northeast direction for the state of Tennessee, but according to the timetable, which has always been that way since the last spike was driven into this piece of railroad, this train is heading south. In Nashville at the mile-post J-0.0 at Fogg St is the northern starting point of the CSX Chattanooga Sub, and at the mile-post J-147.0 is the most southern point of the Subdivision in Chattanooga, TN.
