Norfolk Southern's Executive train is framed under the fan favorite Pennsy signal bridge on McFarland's Curve in Tipton, Pennsylvania as the train deadheads back to Altoona after a trip from Chicago to Harrisburg. Earlier this morning, signal crews removed this classic bridge at mile 225 on the Pittsburgh Line from service, and along with it, any reason to return to this location. In the coming weeks, NS's signal crews are slated to continue west across the Pittsburgh Division, activating new signals all the way to Conway.
