Remarks & Notes

For a few days in July 1993, Willamette & Pacific put together a power set that represented all the variations in appearance that were seen on their ex-ATSF GP39s. From left, we have a full WPRR repaint, a full WPRR relettering, a unit still fully lettered and numbered for ATSF, and a unit renumbered for WPRR that retained the large "Santa Fe" lettering on the long hood.
