An unfortunately open view. After a series of devastating fires at the Marcal factory in Elmwood Park, NJ on January 29-30, 2019, the iconic sign no longer shines in the night and many structures have been destroyed. As a late running New York, Susquehanna, and Western Railway SU-100 rolls through on the morning of March 20, 2019, the extensive damage is evident. A matched set of SD60s (3808, 3804, & 3810) have almost arrived at their final destination in Ridgefield Park, NJ.
