Some of the prettiest scenery Colorado has to offer rail photogs is between Castle Rock and Larkspur, Colorado. Trains run along I-25, making for good opportunities to chase the trains along a frontage road. The scenery varies from dense evergreens of the Black Forest, Larkspur with the iconic Santa Fe bridge, and the rolling hills and wide open spaces between Greenland and Palmer Lake.
