Doyle in the office. Friends of the 4449 President Doyle McCormack looks right at home in his "office", that being the Engineer's seat on SP 4449 as it runs in the yard in Portland, Oregon. With over 66,000 lbs. of tractive effort (78,000 with her trailing truck booster), and weighing in at nearly 800,000 lbs. fully loaded, it must be quite a hoot just to pull throttle and feel this beast start to move.....not to mention see her go well over 60 mph on the main line. It's not difficult to understand why this never gets old for "Mr. 4449."
