| Prior to beginning their day switching the yard in Guadalupe, UP 1011 and 1499 catch the morning light as they rest on the house track. The ironic part in 1011's presence here is that it was selected as the replacement for a sister GP60 that had succumbed to a graffiti artist's crack at the Union Pacific in the form of a complete repaint of it, UP 1009, into full Southern Pacific colors. |
