Ge 6/6 II # 705 "Pontresina/Puntraschigna" is pulling freight train 5152 from Samedan to Landquart over the 65 meter high and 136 meter long Landwasser viaduct, which was built between 1901 and 1902. In 2009 the viaduct was extensively restored. During the month of September 2018, the viaduct was "adorned" with huge flags (10 x 10 metres) of Switzerland, the cantons of Basel-Landschaft, Basel-Stadt and Graubünden, which refer to an advertising campaign by Graubünden Ferien, the RhB and other partners. Guests from the two Basel half-cantons received various discounts this month in hotels, for consumption in restaurants, rides on the RhB, for mountain railway rides, etc.
