Remarks & Notes
After decades of hauling coal from countless mines with diesels in drab black paint, The Monongahela Railway lightened up its paint scheme when it revamped its roster with eleven remanufactured former WP U23Bs from GE. Here four of the Super 7-23Bs begin the flood loading of a train at Consolidated Coals Blacksville Number 2 Mine at Wana, West Virginia.
