Brand new "Sydney Growth Train" B2 (formed by cars D1202, N1602, N1802, T1402, T1302, N1902, N1702 and D1102) arrives in Museum Station operating as run 848C from Circular Quay to Campbelltown via the Airport Line and East Hills. Built under sub-contract by CRRC Changchun Railway Vehicles in China for Downer Rail, at this point B2 was making the first visit of a "passenger carrying" B Set to Sydney's City Circle, having inaugurated the B Set era of revenue service less than two hours earlier following its departure from Auburn Maintenance Centre for Liverpool.
