Two "Giruno" highspeed trains RABe 501 # 004 and # 001 are racing towards the Gotthard Base Tunnel at Rynächt with 160 km/h, in the tunnel they will reach 200 km/h on this pantograph test run. More then 1 1/2 years after the start of operating through the GBT, there is still a 160 km/h restriction on this part of the line between Altdorf and the north portal, instead of 200 km/h.
