| Last weekend saw the annual 1940's weekend on Wensleydale railway. In the towns and villages along the line people were wearing period costume, stalls and shops were decorated with flags and bunting and a carnival atmosphere ensued. This locomotive was brought in for the weekend, built in 1941 and rebuilt in its current form in 1958, it didn't exactly meet the criteria for the event. Nevertheless it was good to see on the rails. |
