It is a 100+ degree day in and around the Los Angeles area. It is also Saturday. And you can bet, every single beach from Ventura onward has run out of parking, as families and friends alike flock to the coast to try and beat the heat. Gaviota State Beach was one of those beaches with large crowds. As the beach-goers enjoy their fun in the sun, many take a moment to observe the Coast Starlight, as it heads north across the magnificent Gaviota trestle.
