A tedious and thankless job that goes with every good paint job is all the work spent prepping and masking before applying paint. Here, several painters mask a portion of Union Pacific SD70ACe No. 4141 (George Bush 41) in the paint shop at UP’s North Little Rock’s Jenks Shop after the locomotive had a new snowplow applied, and was being repainted silver from the frame down to “freshen” up the special paint job on May 18, 2015.
