| A couple of weeks ago Beamish museum held its annual steam fair. Two guest locomotives came from the Statfold Barn museum and they have yet to return. The two men in charge of the railways at Beamish, Paul Jarman and Matt Ellis, decided on Friday last to have a play with them as they both had some free time. I was invited to attend and take some pictures. Very like having your own personal charter. Here I am on the footplate of Statfold waiting for Paul on Jack Lane to reverse down the line for a run around the site. |
