| CSXT 8024 paid a visit to the UP's North Yard. The SD40-2 was built in 1979 for the Louisville and Nashville Railroad and then spent a stint with the Seaboard System before joining the CSX team. UP 1526 (GP40M-2) is a cousin to 8024, having been built in 1976 as a GP40 for the L&N, then spending time with the Seaboard System and the St Louis Southwestern (Cotton Belt) before ending up with the Union Pacific. |
