Top Ten of 2017. With 2017 in the books, here's a look back at my Top 10 favorite shots from the past year. 2. The longest trip of the year was a week-long February vacation to take part in a Lerro Productions charter on the Grand Canyon Railway in Arizona. The two-day charter concluded with a doubleheader of 2-8-0 29, which was returned to service the previous summer, and 2-8-2 4960. The two locomotives, both originally built for railroads in the Midwest, look right at home winding through the Coconino Canyon on the way south, back toward Williams.
