OmniTRAX’s 4201 (GP40-2LW) works the small yard in Loveland, Colorado. Near the OmniTRAX Loveland headquarters is the old Loveland Depot, built by The Great Western Railway in 1901 to serve the transportation needs of the Great Western Sugar Company, whose silos can be seen in the background. The depot accommodated both freight and passenger service and closed in 1985 when the sugar beet company ceased operations. In an effort to save the historic structure it was supposed to be moved to the Moffat Road Train Museum located in Grandby, Colorado. It seems now uncertain if that will happen. Hopefully this 117-year-old historic structure will not be demolished
