SNC 8524 has just arrived in North Creek with train 187, the Adirondack Limited, and is in the process of running around the train to prepare for the southbound departure of train 190, the Saratoga Flyer about an hour later. A rare three-builder line up briefly presented itself with SNC Alco S2 821, SLRG EMD E8(A) 515 and SNC GE B39-8 8524. Only 821 remains on the SNC; SLRG 515 is currently assigned to the Grenada Railway, and SNC 8524 was sold to the Huntsville & Madison County Railroad.
