Passing through a snow covered tunnel of trees, Housatonic Railroad Co. road job NX-13 crests the grade at Glendale Curve and begins to accelerate towards Stockbridge, Massachusetts with EMD GP7u 22 and GP35 3604 as power for their 22 car train. With 3600 in for it's inspection and 3601 receiving new traction motors, 22 has been handling both it's regular yard duties as well as the road train to Pittsfield, due to the power shortage, the railroad is operating on a temporary schedule, with NX-12 working south of Canaan in the morning and NX-13 working north of Canaan in the afternoon.
