While many were enjoying the fun of the CSXT Santa Train, a few locals were able to catch the turbine move of the freshly painted Carolina Piedmont GP38-2's. This is their first run hauling a turbine from GE down to their yard in Laurens with the new company colors. To top it off, the KRL car hauling the turbine is also brand new. Here, the crew is on the final part of their journey as they pass Highland Home Baptist Church in rural Laurens County. A short distance away, they will yard their train and prepare it for the next leg of the journey. Eventually, it will end up with a customer in Pennsylvania.
