Remarks & Notes
The Altoona Railroader's Memorial Museum

The Museum building is the former PRR master mechanics building which was built in 1882 and was once an extensive testing laboratory for the railroad. The museum, which opened to the public in 1980, has been located in this four-story building since 1998.. A turntable and seven stall roundhouse are to the left out of view. Withing the stables are PRR 4-6-2 #1361, in parts after a failed restoration, C.M. Berwind Mines 0-4-0T "Nancy" along with GG1 #4913.
