After about 20 years work and several setbacks like fire or flooding, a second "Elefant" 2-10-0 C 5/6 steamlocomotive is (almost) finished. The # 2969, built in 1916 by SLM Winterthur for the SBB, was rebuilt by association Eurovapor Lokremise Sulgen and is under steam now. The fire is burning, steam pressure is slowly rising (in the moment 6 bar or 87 psi), max pressure will be 15 bar / 217 psi. The engineer will be on the right side, the fireman on the left. The boiler (# 3337 built in 1914 by SLM) of this locomotive comes from C 5/6 # 2958, which was on display in Olten from 1973 untill 1996.
