From the rim of Sheep Canyon is a striking view of a southbound BNSF freight curving along the Bighorn River on June 22, 2017. What looks like coal up front is actually coke loaded in GATX hoppers from Billings, Montana. This breathtaking canyon is north of Greybull at milepost 414 on BNSF’s Casper Subdivision.
