| NS 1106 with Intercity 801 "Intercity-Plus Maastricht" from Amsterdam CS to Maastricht passes Roermond. The Intercity Plus had extra comfort and was slight faster than the regular intercity. For this train French Corail-carriages were rented. This train stopped only at Utrecht CS and Eindhoven, other intercities stpped at five stations more.
