| "MARC Coaches Arrive at Hunterspoint Ave for the First Time"
Five Sumitomo/ Nippon Sharyo "MARC II" cars sit at Hunterspoint Ave Station shortly after being picked up by Long Island Rail Road. The cars were taken to Long Island City Yard to be bracketed by another engine and inspected before heading east to Morris Park Yard. The LIRR leased 8 of the cars from MARC to free up their C3 fleet to accommodate extra summer service on the Montauk. |
